The project was launched in September 2019 with the participation of 7 partners (academic, technological and cultural organizations) from 4 countries -Lebanon, Italy, Spain and Jordan- which have worked together to introduce gamification in the tourism sector using a combination of digital and physical applications. During the 3 years of the project, 40 games have been developed in 12 locations in 4 countries.

Al gamified experiences were developed in cooperation with local communities (20 out of the 40 games were developed directly by providing small grants to game and creative industry companies). The initiative applies digital technologies as effective tools to provide immersive experiences which highlight the Mediterranean identity.
