Since 1991, the Burj al-Luqluq Social Center Society has developed a wide and diverse range of initiatives to serve the Palestinian community in the Old City of Jerusalem. These initiatives underscore its commitment to solidarity, cultural enrichment, and community development.

Among the main activities implemented are training courses in fields such as digital marketing and business management; academic, athletic, and psychological support for children with special needs to enable their integration into society; and educational and cultural programs to stimulate learning and personal development.

The Burj al-Luqluq project is distinguished by innovative aspects that reflect a commitment to creative solutions and technological integration, as demonstrated using Augmented Reality in education, providing an interactive learning experience.

The impact of the project is significant, both physically (as it extends beyond the boundaries of the Old City of Jerusalem and surrounding neighbourhoods) and in terms of its sector, due to its focus on marginalized communities, youth, women, and others, forging collaborative networks and using digital platforms and social media to sustain them.
