    01.- Introduction

    The purpose of this document is to establish and regulate the rules of use of the Site https://premiosdelmediterraneo.org (hereinafter the ‘Site’), which is understood to be all pages and their contents owned by Fundación Tres Culturas del Mediterráneo (hereinafter Fundación Tres Culturas), which is accessed through the https://premiosdelmediterraneo.org domain and its sub-domains.

    Use of the Site confers the condition of user of the same and implies acceptance of all the conditions included in this Legal Notice. The user undertakes to read the Legal Notice carefully each time he/she intends to use the Site, as the Site and its conditions of use contained in this Legal Notice may undergo modifications.

    The Privacy Policy, in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data (GDPR-EU), and with the provisions of Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD), forms part of the General Conditions governing the https://premiosdelmediterraneo.org Website, together with the Cookies Policy and the Legal Notice.

    Fundación Tres Culturas reserves the right to modify or adapt this Privacy Policy at any time. Therefore, we recommend that you review it each time you access the Website. In the event that the user has registered on the website and accesses his/her account or profile, upon accessing the same, he/she will be informed in the event that there have been substantial modifications in relation to the processing of his/her personal data.

    If, for any reason, you wish to contact us in any matter related to the treatment of your personal data or privacy, you can do so at personal data or privacy, you can do so through any of the means indicated above, either to the Controller or directly to the DPO.

    1. What are your RIGHTS in relation to the processing of your data?

    2. b) By sending a scanned and signed form to the e-mail address info@tresculturas.org, with a copy to the e-mail address of the Data Protection Officer dp-control@dp-control.es, indicating in the subject “Exercise of GDPR Rights”.

    You have the right to file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency, in the event that you consider that the request of your rights has not been properly addressed.

    Fundación Tres Culturas has a maximum period of one month from the date of receipt of your request by us. However, depending on the complexity and number of requests, the term may be extended for another two months, prior notice to the interested party of said extension.

    1. What data do we collect through the website?

    By providing your data through electronic channels, you warrant that you are over 14 years and that the data provided to Fundación Tres Culturas are true, accurate, complete and updated. To this end, the user confirms that he/she is responsible for the veracity of the data provided and that he/she will keep such information conveniently updated so that it corresponds to his/her real situation, being responsible for false and inaccurate data that he/she may provide, as well as for damages, direct or indirect, that may arise.

    The following groups of data may be collected:

    1. Data stored by browsing and use of the Web Page.

    By the simple fact of browsing the Web Page, Fundación Tres Culturas will collect information relating to:

    • IP address
    • Browser version
    • Operating system
    • Duration of the visit or navigation through the Web Page.

    Such information is stored by Google Analytics, so we refer to the Privacy Policy of Google, as it collects and treats such information (http://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/).

    Similarly, when the Web Page provides the Google Maps utility, if you allow the utility may have access to your location in order to provide you with greater specificity about the distance and / or roads to our headquarters. In this regard, we refer to the Privacy Policy used by Google Maps, in order to know the use and processing of such data (http://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/).

    The information that we handle, will not be related to a specific user and will be stored in our databases, in order to perform statistical analysis, improvements in the Web Page, about our products and / or services and help us improve our business strategy. The data will not be communicated to third parties.

    1. Data provided in the application form or by e-mail

    You can formalise your application through the form provided for this purpose. To do so, the User must identify him/herself and provide his/her personal details, as well as those of the proposed candidate, so that Fundación Tres Culturas can deal with the application. The data requested in the forms available on the website are generally obligatory (unless otherwise specified in the required field) in order to comply with the established purposes. The fields required to carry out the management will be marked in red if they have not been completed. If these fields are not provided, your request will not be allowed to be sent. When using other means to send data to Fundación Tres Culturas, the user must only provide the information that is necessary in each case.

    In this sense, the user will assume the possible responsibilities derived from excessive or inadequate data that he/she voluntarily decides to provide to Fundación Tres Culturas through the established means of data collection.

    Such personal data will be incorporated into the databases of Fundación Tres Culturas, and will be kept during the processing of the award procedure and any claims that may be made, with the Spanish archives and documentary heritage regulations being applicable.

    The purpose of the processing is the management and resolution of the call. The purpose is based on the public interest of the call for entries and your application to participate in it.

    The data relating to the winners of the awards may be published on the Foundation’s website and on its social networks.

    1. Cookies

    The cookies used on https://premiosdelmediterraneo.org/ are only associated with a computer, and at no time provide references that allow the name and surname of the User to be deduced, nor can they read data from the User’s hard drive or include viruses in their texts.

    1. International Transfers

    The data relating to the winners of the prizes may be published on the Foundation’s website (https://premiosdelmediterraneo.org/ and http://tresculturas.org/) and on its social networks (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram…).

    The rest of the data provided will not be communicated or transferred to third parties without the prior consent of the interested party, except under legal or contractual obligation.

    In the event that Fundación Tres Culturas, through the use of technological services and/or maintenance of systems provided by third parties, makes international transfers to recipients established in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA), the European Commission has recognised that certain non-EEA countries provide an adequate level of data protection, so that your data may be transferred to entities located in those countries with the appropriate guarantees offered by this legitimate basis for the processing of your data.

    In the event that these transfers have to be made to non-EEA countries or whose level of protection has not been recognised by the European Commission, Fundación Tres Culturas will use other legitimate bases established by the GDPR, such as the subscription with these companies of standard data protection clauses adopted by the European Commission for international transfers, in accordance with the provisions of article 46.2 of the GDPR.

    1. How do we protect your information?

    In Fundación Tres Culturas we are committed to protecting your personal information.

    We use reliable and effective physical, organizational and technological measures, controls and procedures aimed at preserving the integrity, security and privacy of your data. In addition, all personnel with access to personal data have been trained and are aware of their obligations in relation to the processing of your personal data.

    In the case of the contracts we sign with our suppliers, we include clauses requiring them to maintain the duty of secrecy regarding the personal data to which they have had access by virtue of the assignment, as well as to implement the necessary technical and organizational security measures to guarantee the confidentiality, integrity, availability and permanent resilience of the systems, systems and information, availability and resilience of the systems and services for the processing of personal data.
